When you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, a T2 Travels representative will be waiting to meet and greet you. Then we will proceed to Negombo.

Arriving in Negombo, we will visit Negombo Fish Market, the largest and busiest in Sri Lanka. Where you can experience the hustle and bustle of fish auctions.

Afterward, we will take a boat ride on the Hamilton Canal, one of the most important waterways of colonial times that connects northern and southern parts of Negombo. Along the way, we will see many landmarks of this city located along the banks of the canal.

Traveling along the coast we will visit one of the most important Hindu temples in Sri Lanka. Munneswaram Kovil is a temple constructed in place of an ancient shrine where Lord Rama prayed after defeating Ravana, as described in epic Ramayana.

Continuing on our way, we will embark on a safari through Wilpattu National Park. Named after the many shallow lakes, willus, this national park is a place of many hotspots of biodiversity.

After breakfast at the hotel in Anuradhapura, we will start our journey to Trincomalee.

In the morning we will tour the Ancient City of Anuradhapura. A former seat of power of Sinhala kings from the 4th century BC until around 1017 AD. City of Buddhist learning and temples that according to archeological data has existed since before 10th century BC, which makes it one of the oldest still inhabited cities in the world.

Continuing on our way, we will visit the Mihintale Temple, a Buddhist temple constructed in a place where according to legend Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka in 3rd century BC.

Arriving in Trincomalee we will visit the Kanniya Hot Water Springs. According to legend, these seven hot springs erupted from the ground when Lord Ravana hit the ground with his sword.

We will also visit a Hindu temple with a tradition lasting since 205 BC, the Koneswaram Kovil. Once known as the Temple of Thousand Pillars, through history it was destroyed and rebuilt several times, and today it is one of the most important Hindu temples in Sri Lanka.

Near the temple is a small shrine known as the Shankari Devi Kovil. According to Hindu teachings, it is one of the eighteen Maha Shakti Pithas, places in the world where parts of the body of a goddess Shakti fell, and which are important places of pilgrimage.

Continuing on our way, we will embark on the Jeep Safari through Minneriya National Park. Located on banks of the 3rd century AD artificial lake, this natural reserve is an important feeding ground for wildlife of surrounding areas during the dry season.

In the morning we will pass through Lion Gate and climb to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This fortress constructed in the 5th century AD on top of a 200 meters high rock, with its many pools and gardens, is one of the most magnificent monuments of ancient Sinhala builders.

Afterward, we will take a Village Safari, and experience the rural life of Sri Lanka and its synergy with nature. Along the way we will travel by foot, catamaran riverboat and bullock pulled cart.

In the afternoon, we will climb the Pidurangala Rock, a popular hiking spot near Sigiriya from which spreads a bewitching vista encompassing the whole of this ancient city. Afterward, we will return to the hotel in Sigiriya.

After breakfast at the hotel in Sigiriya, we will get on our way to Kandy.

On our way, we will visit the Spice and Herbal Garden. Since ancient times Sri Lanka has produced and exported many exotic spices, here you will learn about them.

Arriving in Kandy we will visit the Gem Museum, traditional Wood Carving, and Batik Cloth factories.

In the afternoon we will attend the Kandyan Dance Show. Starting at 4 pm it showcases the immaterial heritage of Sinhalese civilization, dances and traditional costumes.

Continuing on our way, in the suburbs of Kandy, we will visit the Peradeniya Botanic Garden. The largest botanical garden on the island and home to the national herbarium boasts a collection of more than 4,000 plant species.

Continuing on our way, we will have a tour of the Tea Factory, where you can learn about the history and process of production of some of the best tea in the world.

Afterward, we will visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Just a short drive away is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka, Ramboda Ella down which waters flow in a Y shape.

Arriving in Nuwara Eliya, we will spend the rest of the day in the style of wealthy planters of colonial times, on Lake Gregory, fishing, boating, or having a stroll on its banks.

Continuing on our way, we will visit the Seetha Aman Kovil, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Sita, wife of Lord Rama, and arguably the only one in the world dedicated to this Hindu goddess.

We will then visit the town of Nanuoya, from which we will embark on the Train Trip to Ella, a train trip known as one of the most scenic in the world.

In the afternoon we will embark on the safari through Yala National Park. One of the two oldest national parks, Yala is the most visited one and its Block I is considered to be the place with the highest concentration of leopards in the world.
