Among the ruins of this city stands the Vanavan Mahadevisvaram, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva from the 11th century AD, which today looks almost the same as when it was built.

Afterward, we will embark on a Jeep Safari through Minneriya National Park. This national park is located near the Minneriya Wewa, a dammed lake constructed in the 3rd century AD.
